Missy earned a BS in wildlife biology from Purdue University in 2014. Since then she has worked on three fawn survival projects in Wyoming, the Upper Peninsula, and Indiana. She has also worked as a biologist aide for the Pennsylvania Game Commission sampling for chronic wasting disease and as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys working with all species of animals but is especially fond of mesocarnivores and game species, being most interested in predator-prey interactions and wildlife disease. Missy hopes to earn a masters degree in the future and continue working in wildlife research across the country.
